My mother in laws services were performed as if she did not have insurance. The entire set up was a nightmare and I have a video recording to prove it. For example the family was asked to re-walk in because they were escorted in before the wake was over, and her casket was in the process of being closed and was re-opened by the funeral director for late comers. I am from down south and the things I witnessed at my mother in laws final home going was unacceptable!

The family is great! They are caring and respectful of your loved ones. Tamika and Taleesha are fabulous, they are patient with the millions of questions that I had. They were protective with family matters and just great overall!
Powell-Coleman Funeral Home (Gary, Indiana) is a joke. They tried to scare the family away from buying an online casket. They were trying to charge the family thousands of dollars which would have been more than they the online price in a time of need. This place is a total SCAM, FRUAD, CROOKS, and should not be in business.
